These animals are dead, definitely. But they are on their way to a new life, a second one. Meanwhile they exist in a world in between. This is the world of taxidermy. The creatures look strange, alien-like, quirky and sometimes a little bit creepy: spiked with needles, packed in plastic, stretched and fixed, frosted. In their second life the individuals will get another kind of importance. They will end up in museums and universities for scientific research and education.
